These are my go-to cheapo. Right now $2 each for the robusto. Good stuff.

Don't forget the Perdomo Lot 23's. In either Connecticut or Maduro.

Camacho Havana is a really nice smoke, not very expensive and not to strong. This is my everyday want to relax smoke.

generally speaking, cigars won't be as good if you let them go out and sit around for 30 minutes.
like any other "rule" there are exceptions but those are an exact cigar on an exact day under exact conditions. there's no cigar you can buy by the box that tolerates going out especially well.

"generally speaking, cigars won't be as good if you let them go out and sit around for 30 minutes."

I actually like the way a short cool-down period affects the flavour of some of the more mild blends. With Rocky Connecticut's for example I find a nice charcoal/burnt meat flavour sneaks in every now and then after the re-light. But the burnt end seems to draw moisture like a magnet. Must be the ash and charred tobacco is hygroscopic and draws extra moisture from the atmosphere. Our house is pretty humid, and if I leave anything that's went out for too long, the burnt foot becomes positively soggy, utterly ruining the rest of the smoke.
I picked up a few Oliva V's that I'm going to try out this week and will probably pick up some Padron 2000 as well.

Try the Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinets. I like the #1. Pick 'em up cheap on cbid.

I concur with the Fuente value lines. One of my favorite cigars to this day is the Curly Head.

The Curly Head is definitely on my list. What is the story behind those? There actually rolled from the cuttings from their top premium blends?
