I had originally planned on picking up a few Cohiba Gran Reservas for graduation dates, but I settled for a few Forbidden X instead. When I received my AA I went to a local putting range with a friend, sparked up a forbidden X, and smacked a few balls. I still wouldn't mind picking up the Cohibas.

This morning for me! I applied for a promotion in early October. Boss called this morning with the good news. I was given an Opus X in an NST trade and had been saving it for this day or Christmas. In my short time enjoying this hobby, this was the best stick I've had so far, just amazing start to finish.

This has me wondering what I should pick up for when I graduate this December. I have been in school for almost 6 years and I think I deserve something EXTRA special for when I am done. Probably grab a Cohiba SigIV, Partagas Lusitania, or a Padron 45th maddy. Although, it is getting frickin cold here now, so It may be difficult to spend that much time outside. Backwoods, maybe?

I will be going to a larger smoke shop in Vancouver, so maybe they will have some opus X there. Unfortunately I won't be able to make an order and pick it up across the border till after the new year. This would significantly reduce the cost of these cigars as they are probably about $65-$75 up here? I have been wanting to try them for awhile now to see what the hype is about.

San Miguel when my Fiancee and I bought our first Car.
Ghurka Gran Reserve (Can't remember, too lazy to look), gift from my Father, when I moved to Massachusetts from Michigan.
Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne, when I got a job after looking for 6 months.
Thinking about something from My Father, for my Wedding. Definitely going to sneak off and have a Cigar on my Wedding Day... It's required, right?
:-)
