You really need to check out some Dave Alvin based on your preferences. One of the best songwriters I've ever known.

His voice sucks now compared to what he used to could do. I love the original version of Dream On. The young Steven Tyler reminds me very much of Freddy Mercury with his vocal range. Not many Rock vocalists can go there.
