Congrats brother. This is very exciting, I only have a small fraction of an idea of what you are now capable of. Cant wait to see your work!

I understand all the software will take me a couple weeks to just start to do some damage. I haven't started working with it much yet, I'm waiting for some online classes. A little more familiarity with the machine will help a lot with learning the software.
I'm looking forward to it, and Shane and I have talked about art work. I'm sure we'll be able to concept some cool ideas right out the gate.

There's a place here by home and I was pricing their stuff the other night. For one board 1" thick, 9" wide and 10' long, dark walnut, $144.00.
I can buy a trailer full of rough cut oak for that and still have money left for a Whopper and fries.
It's tough around here!!!
Scott, exotics are beautiful but a good looking piece of oak crafted with love and inspiration is like comfort food......it just seems right. Some of the best looking furniture / tables/ cabinets I've seen are made out of good ole American oak. I'm sure you have some wild ideas floating around in that noggin of yours and I look forward to seeing your work.

That beast is sexier than you in your favorite purple speedo.

We may be seeing a lot less of Scott in the future since he'll be spending so much time in his new favorite place
:-) Congrats Scott
