Praise report! After nine years at home of being a homemaker/housewife/mother of three children, my wife finally got a full-time job. She is the new director of the Wee-Care Childcare Program at First Baptist Church in our town. I'm so proud of her. She's been a substitute teacher for the last two months and that hasn't paid enough to cover the cost of childcare for our three children. Her getting this job is a finiancial blessing for us right now.

Childcare is crazy ain't it? My wife was a daycare teacher just before our son was born, her monthly pay was almost exactly what it would cost to send the boy to daycare there, even with a discount. What I don't understand is she was responsible for up to 10 kids, so the labor cost must only be ~10% of the monthly bill... where the hell does the other 90% go!? I understand there are overhead costs, but 90%?!
