Wife was driving my 12 yo home from soccer Friday night when a girl ran a red light at hit her doing about 50 mph. Luckily it hit the engine, a few seconds later and it would have been in the driver side door and we’d be talking a lot more than some soreness. Both wife and child are ok, thank god. Wife’s new 2020 Pilot...not so much. Be safe out there folks.

Thank God for those crumple zones and airbags in vehicles nowadays. Glad that everyone is OK. Is she experiencing any back or neck soreness? It usually doesn't start right away. Best that she and everyone gets checked out by a doctor

Pretty sore yesterday, she may go get checked out if it doesn’t feel better today or tomorrow.

I'm so glad that it wasn't worse. They should still get checked out, even if they are just sore. Better safe than sorry.

Darn shame about the vehicle but it's just a thing compared to what was inside.

Thank God they are ok, had a brother that was killed in the same way. Just another reason I get anxiety driving.
They should get checked out no matter what just in case something comes up they will have the medical records, better safe than sorry.

As others mentioned, thank God all is ok. I would schedule a check up a chiropractor to make sure there is no damage. Whiplash and the like can take a couple of days to show up.
