You should try the winter in my dark little corner of the country. Our famous Boston sunshiny attitude and cheerful demeanor gets us through, though. :-)

Ya know, Mikey, I was standing one day pumping gas in the -10* driving wind and I said to my buddy, "I finally figured it out."
He just looked at me.
I said "I'm genetically predisposed to misery. My ancestors have been too stupid to walk south for hundreds of generations. Who am I to argue with destiny?"
He just looked at me.
At that moment, I realized that he had no idea what I was talking about because the snow retardation runs very, very deep.
I had somehow been able to transcend the grip for just a moment, and vowed to make a change.
So I moved from PA to Ohio. :-)

Just never know what winter will bring, 'cept if you're in Florida.

Winters in Chicago are more fun than kicking Gary (Cort) in the nutz.

Got caught in a monsoon on the bike today. I have to throw my shoes away. :-)

You have peaks without snow? I can see Mounts Rainier, St. Helens, Adams, Hood, and Jefferson and they have snow all year round. You people must be in the banana belt.

Or maybe your mountains are under 10,000' :-)

Our mountains are covered with water...

BTW, that would be several thousand feet of snow in it's liquid state...

The snow just makes it easier to see what you are hunting!
