A terrible loss for all who appreciated clean television.

Really sad to hear this. If I could only watch one sitcom for the rest of my life it'd be the Andy Griffith Show. Momma and I watched every episode when I was growing up

I did not call my dad on fathers day (a day late) but I will shoot him a call about this, He will be bummed.
Lots of fond memories watching the show with my dad as a kid.

I grew up watching him and Mayberry in black and white. He was a role model for us kids from the 50's. RIP Andy, you made a difference and we'll miss you.

Even back at home overseas.. man.. Matlock one of my all time favorites. Totally forgot about him throughout these years. I spent countless hours on the TV as a kid watching it. He's leaving a big legacy behind. RIP.
