Well I've been using
this since I started smoking a few months ago. After my somewhat recent thread on Palio vs. Xikar I think it's time to finally pick up a Palio.
I jumped on that $40 for $20 StogieBoys Groupon, and had a $10 credit so essentially I get $40 for $10.
Conveniently, the Palio's are $40.
Sooo...

Or this for $50

I'm a very indecisive person.

I was gifted a C.C. cutter and it works great.
I was given a Palio for Xmas and it is just awesome.
FYI, you can find these much cheaper on Cbid, the buy now is $30 and you can get them sometimes for half that price at auction. I would use that $40 on something else and try to bid on one. Although I believe your color choices are limited on the auction route.
:-)

I will do a little more looking around. I only really want a cutter and an ash tray. My 50ct humidors are fairly packed so I don't really want to get anymore cigars.
I stopped looking on Cbid because I don't buy many cigars, so I end up having to pay like $6 shipping on everything which comes out to average price on fivers, if not more.
I've seen them pop up on Cigar Sprint Sale but it has been a while. For a good price, I wouldn't be picky on color.
As far as the CC, it works well, but I don't like not having the capable to gauge my own size or cut off a larger portion for whatever reason.

If you have to ask which color, you do not deserve the best (black) Palio.
:-)
Wisdom for modern living: Carbon fiber is cool. Fake carbon fiber is fake cool.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the carbon fiber but it was worth considering. I'm thinking probably black, but silver is nice
:-) I'd be perfectly satisfied with either.
I'll probably get it from StogieBoys. With Cbid shipping it'll come to probably $30-$35, which is nearly the same as CI with free shipping, as opposed to $15 total from StogieBoys. $5 shipping plus $10 cost of voucher.

They all cut awesome so you can't go wrong other than personal ascetics. However, I had a silver one previously, which I lost, and replaced it w/a black one. I've noticed that the black one doesn't show stains as much as the silver one
:-)

Mine in silver and I have to say it looks better in person than I thought!
I am fond of the carbon though!
I would have bought black if I had a choice, to keep it simple, but silver has exceeded my expectations! (Thanks Taki)

The carbon fiber rubs off. I'm with Doc, fake carbon fiber is fake cool. Go with the black one.
:-)
That said, I've gotten rid of all mine. My hands don't work so good and they're awkward for me. I pinch the web of my thumb with them and bleed on stuff. I have gobs of Xikars, they work great and I have yet to make myself bleed with it.
Either are great stuff, it just boils down to what you like.
I like this Xi3, it's my favorite ever and I even had the Mammoth Bone cutter...

I do like the look of those, I always heard stories of people cutting their hands or pinching their fingers with the Xikars. I have only used a Zikar a few times but it worked fine.
If the Carbon Fiber wears off definitley stay away. I hope the silver doesn't wear off.

I can't attest to the Palio's but I have a couple Xi3's and they work great. I am going to get a Palio as well as I have only heard great things about them! Go with what you like and you can't go wrong
:-)

I am in love with my Cuban Crafters Perfect Cutter, and have never used a Palio before, so maybe that's why I am biased, but I would say BLACK coz I am cool
:-)

Don't all Palios cut the same? Get whatever color you like...
