Just curious if this is a dangerous move to try or not...

There's nothing in there you'll remember fondly. :-)

Go for smaller samplers of better quality.

Some real crap tossed in there :-)

That's kind of what I figured. They have a 40 cigars sampler:

Some of those look promising, I like the CAO's, 5 Vegas, and am anxious to try Diesel.

yeah, I'd stay the hell away from that.

edit: The 80 cigar sampler. Haven't checked the other one yet. But I never buy big samplers like this. I normally see a bunch of dog rockets/yardgars, with a few decent sticks thrown in to help the entire sampler sell. Although I did not see ANYTHING in that 80 stick sampler that interested me.

Take that 100 bucks, and get a bundle of tampa sweetheart 500 maduros, and their Fuente Work of Art sampler:

At least, if I were spending a bill on NC sticks, that's probably what I'd go for right now. I do realize that's only 26 sticks instead of 40, but all 26 of these are great smokes.

Only catch with that is:

A: Not real into maduros like everyone else seems to be, definitely a Connecticut or Natural wrapper kind of guy.

B: Surprisingly wasn't a fan of the Hemingways, I was so excited to try them, then once I did I felt let down.

I'll post another 2 samplers I was looking to get in a sec..

I had looked at your profile, and said you were a Fuente fan, so I went on that.

I primarily smoke CC's, so I am a little lost with NC stuff anyways. Never had a Fuente that was bad.

Basically any 2 of those. I have had a good track record with the Padillas and 5 Vegas. The other is more of a variety, with the Virtue, which I like, the 5 Vegas.

I know, it's ultimately my decision, just looking for General Advise.

I am a big sampler fan. I started with many the type you are looking at and found none were worth the money. However, all I had to do was to step it up one more notch to get a desent sampler. The "mother load" samplers from CI. have all been worth the money. The 12 angry men sampler was another good one. CI and others all have great samplers just keep looking.

I think this is a pretty solid sampler.

Also, I got a bundle of these recently and I think they're pretty good, especially for the money.

Also, the monster puts up all the weeks deals on fridays, you could make a pretty good sampler out of five packs for a hundred bucks.

You get free shipping anyways, and the promo code 'save20now' will get you 20% off $100.

I'm not a fan of them either. I like most others but that one never did it for me.

As others mentioned.:-) Looks to me like they are trying to move some stagnant inventory.:-)

I would pass on this sampler as they are mostly turd trumpets...Churchill's are my least favorite size, and I am not a big fan of purchasing cigars from GurkhaInternational.com

Good luck!
