Just got my 2nd Palio today, unfortunately... I didn't listen to my wife's sound advice of "all the words are important". What I thought was a carbon fiber palio, was actually the camo cutter. It still cuts, so I don't really care... I just hope I don't ever drop it in the grass, lol!
Now to go find something to "test' this cutter on, while I sit out in the garage and enjoy this windy fall day!

Cuts great, just fired up an Obsidian after lunch to try it out. Very glad I scored this. Nabbed it on cbid for $25; the black one I had was easily the best cutter I had ever used.
I lost my last one while on tour last year and it forced me to start using my Xi2 again; I got a little annoyed with it, which is why I bought the black palio. Funny thing is; I have no problems using the Xi2 now because I finally figured it out.
It needs some love though, so I think I'm going to send it back to Xikar for some TLC, now that I have a new cutter.
:-)
Now I just gotta re-stock my smokes again, so I've got something to use this sucker on, mwhahahaa!

I don't have a nice cutter yet, I use punches mostly.
I am looking to get away from punches due to the occasional tar build up.
I am definitley going to grab a Palio after borrowing one at a herf.
They work amazing!!!
Good grab!

I really need to invest in a Palio. I love my Xikar's but these just look sweet.

My Xikar kept blowing out springs so I eventually gave up RMA'n it. My Palio hasn't let me down yet.

Nice looking cutter Rob, not crazy about the Camo either, but that's just me.
Shane you should check out CubanCrafters they have a great "perfect" cutter they call it for $10, I have one and it's great, they guarantee them for life too.

haha, mine hasn't had springs for about 2yrs now, lol. I also broke the plastic off on one side. Funny that I can still get a good cut with it.
The cbid auction had pics, apparently it wasn't the pic for the auction itself though. lol. Irratebass has seen my amp... I'm more functionality than looks anyways.

Looks like a nice cutter. I am still using the newbie $2 plastic guillotine cutter. I don't yet realize what I am missing.
Dang, now I have just rationalized that my experience will be greatly increased once I get a decent cutter. Oh well, that's way hobbies go in general.

Honestly, if you aren't having problems with your current cutter... I don't see any reason to switch. I got my first as a group buy on the old site I believe, or perhaps that's how I got my Xi2.
