:-) how bout a $2.50 pettite corona or something. 4.50 really isn't "economy" priced. you can get a Red Label PC for that much

and I'm really not a fan of the Toro size, why not the robusto and a corona gorda, or PC?

btw, I don't mean to sound like a whiny girl, I'm just saying that 4.50-5 bucks isn't exactly cheap for one cigar

:-) But then again "economy" is all based on an individuals income. For me. My daily sticks usually cost $4 - $7 but I get them on on cbid at a better price. A "full" priced Tat Red, etc mean pay attention to the cigar, no BSing around. Not that I am the envious type, I could earn more if I was willing to do what it's required, but I'm enjoying my free time in life more than $$$$$$. Even if I had the cash for the $10, $15, etc sticks my upbringing would not allow me to "burn" that kind of money :-). Thanks Dad.......

Interesting. Pete was chattin this up when we met him a couple months ago at the Havanna Club. He's a member here, maybe we can get some comment.

This should be a good one. I don't see Pete or DPG as the type to cut corners. In a recent interview, he said they were considering leaving out the triple cap, and Pepin's rollers couldn't do it. They couldn't "go backwards" as he said.

As for the $4.50 price tag, I cannot think of a cheaper DPG blend.

I would also expect the two wrappers to be well received, especially in this community. Everyone is always debating how wrappers effect flavor. This will be a great chance to tell.

Economy priced cigars certainly have changed in their definition of economy.

Looks interesting......can't wait to try one. :-)

Pete was talking about these at the Frank release and said they would be out in January.

He mentioned this along with picking out the tobacco to be used. I certainly want to try them. :-)

It'll be interesting to see how these are blended and how distinguished they are from his other lines. He's definitely taking some plays out of Pepin's playbook by creating more and more lines.

My thoughts exactly.

I think "economy" and that price point is WAY past that!!!
