All Cigar Discussion>Today's Padron Event at my local B&M
AtlantaDave 10:58 PM 06-25-2011
Had a GREAT day at my B&M's annual Padron Event!

Cesar Gadea of Padron was there most of the day. Free BBQ, free soft drinks and beer and a raffle. Lots of folks there and lots of in and out traffic all day (I was there from noon till about 7). I smoked quite a few Padrons to include 2 '64 Anniversary and 1 '26 40th Anniversary.

I bought 2 boxes of the '64 Anniversary Maduro and received this huge ceramic ashtray (10" long and 3" high) and a Padron tumbler

If you bought a box of the '64 or '26, you received 5 of the new Padrons that just came out. I forgot my 10 at the B&M and will pick them up probably tomorrow.

Several weeks ago I bought this wooden Padron cigar from the B&M and wanted to have it signed with whomever showed up from Padron today. Well, Cesar said he's going to have the WHOLE FAMILY (to include Jose Orlando Padron) sign it and send it back to me. Yeah, I was shocked when he told me what he was going to do.

It was a great day!

Sounds like a great time. I need to get to a Padron event with me being such a whore of their sticks.

They are a classy family IMO, always gracious and friendly.

Nice buys as well. Love the Anniversary lines.

You always know what you are getting with a 26 or 64 Padron,a great smoke.
Never a worry as to taste or construction :-)

Sounds like a blast! That is very cool of Cesar to have the wooden cigar signed by the whole family for you.

Thanks, guys. and it was indeed a great day - in contrast to today. Right now, I'm at the Apple Store waiting to have my Mac Mini looked at. It was working perfectly last night, but not booting up today.

:-) That is sweet. But, I'm hating just a little only because of jealousy... :-)
