Alright friends I'm about to start a three day smoke test, one smoke each day, the winning smoke I'm gonna but a box of for everyday smokes. The challengers: La Aurora 107, Punch Rothschild double maduro, Padron 2000, all about the same size(approx. 4 1/2x50). Which one gonna win?

:-)

La Aurora 107, if cost is not a factor.

My choice would be between the Padron and La Aurora 107. Course, I'd just go with the Padron.

For me it would be the La Aurora 107.

I can think of a bunch in the price range, and close to size, that i would prefer to smoke daily (7-20-4 dogwalker for one), but of that bunch I'd go Padron.

Not a fan of the 2000, 107 is pretty enjoyable.

My guess is Padron, but I would have to say that the Punch double Maduro is a very tasty stick!!!
The nice thing about all three cigars, they're very affordable!!!
:-)
Have fun!!!

So many good smokes in that price range. I would hate to see you pick a favorite from only those 3 and buy a bunch only to find that in 3-4 months you find something else you like better. Continue to explore different marcas, blends, wrappers and sizes. The fun of this obsession is not narrowing down your selection but broadening your palate and exploring what different flavors are out there.

Haven't had the 107. Don't remember ever having the 2000. I usually go with the 3000 or 6000 if I have a regular Padron. The Punch Rothschild Double Maduro is a great smoke and you can't beat the price. I think you should just buy a box of 1964 Exlusivos

I agree with Bob, I bought about 3-4 boxes of cigars I'll never smoke. I think ironically my first box I bought was the best? Who knows it's gone now so that means something.

I'd have to say the Padron, or Pardon as someone else posted.

I find it interesting that the Punch gets short shrift in the posts. My guess is that not many of the respondents here have had the Punch.
Personally, I'd get a box of each. Actually, the Punch is a 50 count box. I haven't gotten one in a few years, but usually always had a box of Punch Rothschilds, usually in the double maduros around. Hmmm, now I got to thinking and may need to have a few.
Peace of the Lord be with you.
