Yes, that's where Tim (youngest son) and I watched the Packers beat up on the Giants.
Been in these seats for many games, but there are some games which stick out in your mind. This was one of them.
Why?
1) I was there with my son (although that's been done before).
2) Packers won (although that's been done before)
3) Had a good group of people around us, made it fun.
4) Only one drunk, and he was comic relief rather than an obnoxious drunk.
5) Packers won, and are still in the play-off hunt.
6) Son next to me chanting, "Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhn!"
7) Son high 5in' me for great plays.
8) Did I mention Tim was there with me?
It was a great game to be at and I thoroughly enjoyed it with Tim.
Go PACK!!!
Peace of the Lord be with you.

That was a great game to watch on TV, and it must have been a million times better to enjoy it with your son the way you did.

Rodgers can hang tough in the pocket. It would be nice to see him get a Bowl win so he can get the respect he deserves.

"Rodgers is #12 because he's three times better than #4."
Saw that on a sign held up at the game yesterday. Too funny!

Tim's are always great to have around.
:-)
Glad you had a great time. I hope you have as good a time next week when we go Bear hunting.

Only one "noticable" drunk near us. He was loud (without profanity) and trying to get everybody cheering. Another guy was drunk, but was quiet. And I am sure there were others, but they weren't near us.
I have been at too many games with either of the boys where some guy is drunk and a really butthead or every other word is some form of profanity. I remember one guy who was going to start a fight with my older boy a couple years ago when son was asking him to sit down so he can see - even when my boy stood up, he couldn't see, and this guy was the only one standing (when he wasn't falling). There was a guy two down from Nathan, must have been 6'6" and with 30" arms who said to him, "you want to fight the kid? How about I stand in for him? He asked nicely if you'd sit down. You gonna sit down? Or do I need to tell you to sit down?" (or something along those lines) He promptly sat down - but couldn't stay sitting. Finally, he left about 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter and never came back.
Anyway, when I said only 1 drunk, I meant only 1 near us who was noticably and foolishly drunk.

The Pack looked invincible yesterday, Todd. You guys got a real good game, no doubt. The weather even looked reasonable, if it can be reasonable on December 26th on the frozen tundra.
:-)
I'm glad you guys had a great time.

It was very mild for this time of the year. I didn't have my gloves on for most of the game.
Yeah, it was a good game to be at.

I will be sitting next Sunday with my brother Tyler, in the wheelchair section. I like those seats. I get a chair with arm, a drink holder in front of me, and when people in front stand up, we can remain seated and see over their heads.
That should be a great game too.

As my dad is the season ticket holder, usually he takes each of the boys to one game a season, and then he and I go to one. And then, my brother and I go to a couple in the wheelchair section. Timothy wanted to go to the Giants game, but dad is now in California, a tough commute to get to the game.
They both went to their first games during the 2000 season when we moved back into Wisconsin. I haven't been to a game with either of the boys since the Packers played Denver on Christmas Day a few years back. Nathan, father-in-law, Tyler, and I were up in the wheelchair section. It was the game when the Cardinals beat the Vikings to get us into the play-offs.
It is great that the boys get to go with Grandpa to Lambeau, but it is really nice when I get to be there with them.
Actually, I am just happy that thye are both Packer fans, so many kids root for other teams than do their parents.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

By the way, we saw you and your bike in the commercial on the jumbo screens yesterday. Pointed you out to Tim as a friend.

I'm sorry that in order to spend time with your son you had to endure a Packer game. You truly are a man of God.

Better than having to sit through a Viking game.
Oh yeah, there is no game on time - they're afraid of a little weather.

GO PACK GO!
I was just at Gillette stadium two weeks ago with my cheesehead on cheering on the Packers against the Patriots. I've been on the Packers season ticket waiting list for about 9 years now (a long way to go), and try to get to Lambeau every few years! Die hard fan since I was old enough to watch NFL football, going back to Lynn Dickey days.
We are peaking at the right time.
