So last Friday the 29th of October I picked up my Sentinel cabinet humidor at UPS freight . I brought it home and got it into my house with a hand truck , a bit cumbersome and listed at 182 lbs on the receipt . The box made it really seem huge and was packed very well . The cabinet was packed in styrofoam inside a box that had another layer of styrofoam around it inside a second box . I checked the cabinet over and everything was in good shape . After wrestling it into a corner I began to set up my new Hydra LG electronic humidifier , fished the power adapter cord through the back and hooked it to the ribbon cable connector . I filled the Hydra water tank and let it soak a while and then poured off the excess . Soaked the 12 humidifiers that came with the cabinet also for seasoning it . I placed 3 hygrometers inside the cabinet on different shelves . Early readings were about 53% without any humidification inside . I hooked up the Hydra and it's reading was way off from my hygro's so I salt tested the 3 hygro's . 1 was dead on , 1 was low by 1% and the 3rd was high by 5%(getting rid of it) . Which meant the Hydra was off also so I adjusted the Hydra to get it closer to 2 of my Western Caliber III hygros . I then pumped up the Hydra to about 75% for seasoning for 3 days . On Sunday I fixed the slight bow problem with the door . I just added a tension latch inside to hold the top corner of the door closed and flush . Monday I brought the setting back down to 65% to see how long it will take to come down . Eventually I'm going to remove the foam from the brick humidifiers and replace it with Heartfelt beads . I ordered a pound on Saturday(they were in my mail box on Monday) to add to the 2 lbs I already have in my coolers . From past experience with the beads it's a no brainer to add them to my cabinet . Exterior measurements are 68-1/2 inches tall x 26-1/4 inches wide x 17-3/4 inches deep , interior - 65 inches tall x 22-3/4 inches wide x 15-1/2 inches deep . 2 drawers , 3 angled shelves and 3 flat shelves of which none are adjustable(I plan on changing that) . Won the humidor from cigarbid.com for $433.00 + $249.00 shipping and still saved about $175.00 from the cheapest place I could find it to buy out right . Here's a picture . I'll post more of my experience with this set up in the near future .

Great looking humidor. I guess making the shelves adjustable depends if you need a lot of storage or if you like to display your cigars.

:-) for the long read . Grammar was not a strong subject for me , was much better at spelling . I don't have to type my thoughts down all that often . I'm a carpenter by trade and will modify my cabinet to suit my needs . I will remove the lowest angled shelf and level it out . Then build a set of drawers out of Spanish cedar to install on the replaced shelf . Thank you for all the comments .

So I removed 2 of the angled display shelves and replaced them with a set of 3 drawers that I built . I bought most of my Spanish cedar on Ebay . The drawers are 3 - 1/4 inches high , 12 inches deep and about 17 inches wide . Enough room for plenty of singles and makes the cabinet more useful for me . I had looked around quite a while and when I bought this unit . I must have gotten this unit confused with another I saw somewhere that had adjustable shelves so that is why I modified it . In another day or 2 I will put the rest of my cigars from my cooler inside it .

Nice pickup. I have the Tower of Power cabinet, which is very similar to yours. Trust me, it won't take very long to fill it.
