My youngest son, Ryan, decided it was time to be out from under mom & dads thumb and moved into a house with a few other friends. After sitting down with him to ensure his budget was "on point", we took a look at the place he was moving to (two blocks away) and packing commenced. Yesterday was his first official day out of the house and now Kellie and I have the house to ourselves again...first time in over 24 years!!
:-)
:-)
Time to run around in my underwear again!!!
:-) :-) Now if I can convince Kellie to turn one of the spare bedrooms into a walk-in...

Underwear?
When my son finally moved out, I told him I would celebrate by walking around the house naked for 2 full weeks. He closed his eyes, placed his fingertips to his temples and said, "Go to your happy place. Go to your happy place."
True story.
Enjoy the empty nest, Mac.

Perhaps if you divided the room with a wall so she could have a hobby room too...

Just wait.
My son was the last to leave.
A year later, he comes around telling me he may be moving back in to save money to buy a house.
I looked at him and asked him if he had talked to his mom about that.
He said no.
I then told him how much I am now use to chasing his mom all over the house, butt naked and how that would have to continue if he returned.
I then asked him how much he needed to buy the house.
Gave him the money.
Went on his way.
Bought his house.
Still running around naked.

Oldest is 7, youngest is 3, and I can guarantee that my wife is already dreading that day.
