Real men admit to their guilty pleasures.
:-)
The wife and I watch together. Pretty sure I never would have done so without the "quality time" issue.
Now? Hey, I'm invested.

Boy do I know the feeling.
There are a few of those "quality time" shows she and I watch that I am a bit reluctant to own up to.
I drew the line on "Housewives of NCY, NJ, Washington, Atlanta, etc..........". She watches them all and heck if I will.

Dancing with the stars? Jane "made me" watch for the first time Monday night. What a bunch of drivel... besides the skimpy outfits the women wear and the Brooke announcer type - hae I seen her naked somewhere?
Fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up with Jane commenting - I knew you'd like it - Dancing with the stars was on again. WTF - its like groundhog day - on every night? She seemed happy, so we had that going for us.

Remember I said she makes me watch a bunch I won't own up to?
Well, won't own up to Dancing with the Stars. Will just say I refused to watch the results show yesterday. One day of that stuff was more than enough for me.
I wanted to reach through the screen and knock the smile off "the situation". What an example of a body missing a brain.

Same here. Didn't care for it at first, but over time it grew on me. I figure hey, if she can watch The Shield and Sons of Anarchy with me... why not.

Reminds me of the Howard stern movie when the suits were reviewing a survey of lovers and haters of his show.
Average Stern fan listens for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Why - Most frequent answer - because I want to see what he says next.
Average Stern Critic listens for 2 hours. Why - Most frequent answer - because I want to see what he says next.

I can't believe I am going also admit this but here goes................
What you say above is the reason I watch "Rehab" with her. That guy Matt deserves a beating but without him, who would tune in? She has me hooked on that show just to see what dumb thing he says next or who he fires at a whim.
Hard to believe a place like the Hard Rock would maintain someone like that employed in spite of all the harassment he does, all on tape. Those employees must sign some type of "you can be abused" release to blanket the company.

Did you see her dress on Monday night?
I couldn't see her face for the life of me.
Was anxiously waiting a wardrobe malfunction.

I've only watched 2 episodes of American Idol. The last one I watched was the "pants on the ground" episode.

I hope they go with any of my picks:
Carol Channing - She's not dead yet.
Clint Eastwood - He'd never say a word but give the "Outlaw Josey Wales" stare to every contestant until they cried.
James Ellroy - He doesn't watch TV, only listens to classical music, and is batsh!t crazy.
Gilbert Gottfried - A true judge of talent.
Gary Busey - Also batsh!t crazy.
