Sports>Any interest in a KEEPER fantasy baseball league?
smitdavi 05:33 PM 02-28-2010
So, would anyone be interested in a
KEEPER fantasy baseball league? Looking for about 10-12 EXPERIENCED players that would be willing to do this for a couple of years. Once we get enough interest we will sort out the keeper rules.

I'd love it. Never played in a keeper league, looking forward to it.
Are we gonna pony up some sticks to make it interesting? I'd be willing to gather them and distribute them at season's end, if that helps. I took care of it a couple times before.
If that's doable, I'll toss out some ideas based on how we did it before.
:-)

I am experienced in fantasy baseball, but not keeper leagues. I do have a co-worker than can help me if needed. Let me know if you will still let me in.

the only thing different about a keeper league is that at the end of the season you pick a few of your players and keep them...they dont go back in the pool for the draft. Usually a three year deal so if you pick a young hot prospect you can get three productive years out of him

As long as your aren't a total noob to fantasy baseball is what I'm looking for. I don't want someone to just show up for the draft and set their line up once and not do anything for the rest of the year. For a keeper league you do need to be somewhat familiar of the young talent coming up through the ranks as it can drastically impact your team in the future.
