Entertainment>Pink Floyd reunion
floydpink 02:24 PM 11-26-2009
there are credible rumors that the remaining members, including Roger Waters and David Gilmore have been in the studio rehearsing for a 2010 reunion possibly, against all odds. Stay tuned.

Apparantly the ball is in Gimore's court and Roger is willing.

The passing of Rick Wright may play a part as he was understandably very mad at Roger, as Roger tried to kick him out of the band.

I have heard that venues have already been contacted checking available dates for large stadiums.

You have no idea what you have missed by not having seen them live.

In the lyrics to "Manana" Jimmy Buffett wrote "Don't try to describe a Kiss concert if you've never seen it"

The same can be said for Pink Floyd. It's a spectacle you have to experience to understand.

By all means, if this tour happens, go.

I know I'll be there again.

Yeah. I saw the "Momentary Lapse of Reason" tour , after Waters left. Quite overwhelming, really!

I like that concert from Gdansk that Gilmour came out with recently.

Saw the Lapse tour, and the "Pulse" tour as well. Have seen Roger Waters live, and thought that was fantastic. Now if the two of them toured, and I could get tickets, I could die happy.

Wow, Rogers and Gilmour reconciling..... I would agree, seems against all odds. Never had a chance to see them in concert and would love to. Same as seeing TSO (Trans Siberian Orchastra) live. Worrds cannot describe the sight and sound for their show.

When Waters and Gilmour were able to put aside their differences long enough for one show in '05 as part of Live8, after 20 years of hating each other, I suspected that there might be a reunion tour in the future. Same thing as what happened to a few other groups of similar caliber.

I've seen Gilmore and Pink Floyd. David Gilmore is great solo. I don't know if P.F. would come up with anything new but we'll see.

Pink Floyd is great, but never seeing them live is like only having watched fireworks on television. The feel, power, thunder and visual has to be seen and felt in person. One of the best outdoor stadium acts ever....just hope is doesn't rain.

Hasn't this been a rumor before, actually many times before?

This would be an amazing turn of events on the Gilmore side since last year after Live 8 he said that it was a once time only thing and he would never tour with Waters.

I hope they do find an even ground and get back on tour. I would love to see them in concert.

Yes, this is a repeating rumor, but you know, deaths of band mates has a funny way of reminding the surviving members of their own mortality.

Lest we not forget that it took Thunderfingers's death for Pete Townsend and Roger Daltry to remember what they once had and become friends again (mind, they never really liked each other to begin with).

It's unfortunate that if it took Rick Wright's death to get Waters and Gilmour to allegedly put their egos aside, but dammit, I'm still buying tickets if it happens.
