You ever have something happen that is totally epic, Breathtaking, maybe even once in a lifetime and happened to catch it on camera? Show it off here.
Mine happened 2 years ago playing poker with the father of my 2 nieces and others, I opened the betting light not knowing what I had going for me. Hoping to bluff my way into the pot I go all in not expecting a call. Well he calls and we burn and turn the final card... Straight Flush to the king beat out by
THE ROYAL FLUSH! 2 best hands in poker coming up in the same hand... What are the odds. Walked away with a box of smokes that night

I found a nickel in the parking lot, but I did not have a camera.

I've flown in the jump seat of a B-1B bomber when I worked for Boeing. A friend who worked on the program arranged for it. Sitting in a stealth fighter was cool too. But working on the Simnet battle simulators for DARPA was epic, since we could set the weapons to unlimited ammo and let the helis and planes fly below the ground. Many epic tank and bradley vs. warthog and cobra battles after work (with much pizza and beer).
Doing a winter ascent of the north face of Mt. Stuart in Washington (5.10 rock and ice climb).
Being on assignment for Sperry UNIVAC in Stockholm (Solna) in January and having a boss who was so cheap that he would not approve a car rental so we had to walk the 2-3 miles to and from the office from the hotel each day was not so epic.

Didn't catch it on video, but I was in attendance at a Triple H v. The Rock match in a steel cage.

I dunno if this is completely epic, but I just filled out the paperwork tonight to start my degree in Criminal Justice
:-) The start of my new career path is underway, so I guess that qualifies as an epic journey.

Great news, Jesse.

A loved one's health, one of those epic things we don't always take the time to appreciate.

And Bob, are you bragging, or admitting that you have still not recovered from that encounter!
