As some of you remember, the bulk of my music gear I had, is not with me anymore, And for the little cash i received i thought i would finally order a guitar i can be happy with. Went to ESP, gave them my specs. last August, everything good to go by Sept.
Normally they take 10-11 months Minimum to finish, because it still is a very small custom shop in Japan, and they take there time, Also very pre-booked, so i was patient as hell. Just Received note Japan is ready to ship out, but with the following message.
(We painted it See Threw Blue, We are willing to give you a discount if you will take the guitar As is, if not we can start fresh ASAP)
The discount was possibly 300$ so to me, I would rather take the time needed to safe up the little money i have and wait it out for the guitar i truly have been waiting for.
Oh- And my desired Color was See Threw Aqua... Think GREEN, then think blue
not a bad guitar though, if anyone is interested im pretty sure I will know when it goes on Ebay
:-)

S.T. that color is the $hit, but I am a big blue fan here. Curious as to why you didn't go with a tremolo system on a custom guitar?

Cause i know if i had one on it, i would feel embodied to use it every second haha, And i would drive my self crazy on solo's hahaha...
I do own a late 80's Charvel with a Kahler, Love that bridge, though it is old, and needs some work, if i am ever able to order another custom It will probably be an Alder body instead of a Mahogony, with a Kahler bridge, and possibly a Spalted maple wood top.
WOw.. That sounds pretty good at the moment hahaha
:-)
like i said i can only imagine this thing being up for grabs to the public in a few weeks. will be in the 4 digit range if someone is really diggin it... And hey.. the Custom S.T can stand for... Something Tasty =]

It is great looking but you are totally right. I remember from back in my guitar salesman days that is pretty much the off rack color blue that ESP's have. Custom is custom for a reason. Get what you really wanted.

I worked at a small family owned chain in NJ.
ESP makes some really nice guitars. I'm more of a Strat guy. We did have a Japanese made ESP strat style that I was very tempted by.

Haha yea. I have a couple strats but also a lower-end Gibson LP and a Brian Moore. Humbuckers can come in handy.

No offense, but I assume this was on or around 3k.
If I'm spending 3k on a guitar, I'm getting a Paul Reed Smith.
