Looking for some of the asylum's diehard hockey fans. I have something waiting to be dropped in the mail but only true hockey fans would appreciate it. I've had them for a while but let's be honest, i haven't gone to a hockey game since the Panthers were in the finals. This is not a contest it's more like spring cleaning, just looking for a little help with some names that i can pick from. thanks for the help -Richard

Richard,
I'm a die hard Red Wings fan. Got a Jersery but don't make it to games unfortunately. I have hockey cards, pucks, pint glasses, ect. of red wings.
Oh and we have a NHL thread? Man, I've missed the boat

This thank you is terribly late.
:-)
Richard was kind enough to send me a complete set of 1988-90 Topps Hockey cards in MINT condition. Many old favorites included but two very special rookie cards.
Brian Leetch (my favorite defenseman ever!!)
AND
Joe Sakic - One of my son Mitch's all time favorites
Thank you so much Richard for this thoughtful gift.
I think these should handed down to the first born grandson. Yep, that's it!
Thank you once again.

Richard is the most incredibly generous person I think I've ever known.
Doesn't surprise me in the least.
What does surprise me is that the Pens whooped the evil Redwings last night.
What would surprise me even more is if they pull this series outta their ass.
It's awesome to watch two completely different styles of hockey go at it.
Next game at 8:00 ESt on Versus. Be there or be square.
:-)
Put them in a firebox, Al. Otherwise the first grandson will stick them in his bicycle spokes.
:-)
You can give them to him once he hits Junior Hockey.

Very nice! A card store by me has some unopened boxes from the early 90's. Its a lot of fun to open them up and see all the players you forgot about. Really nice gesture.
