So...
Anyone else's wife/girlfriend/significant other into this series?? My wife borrowed the first book (Twilight) from a friend two weeks ago and finished it in three sessions. Unreal. Felt like I didn't have a wife for a week or so!
Being the good husband I am, I ordered her the collector's box set on Amazon and now she is almost through the second one.
The DVD also came out today. I Redbox'd it and she's watching it now.

Yeah like when they have to do a price check "price check on Maxipads isle 4" and the whole dang place starts looking at you.

I sat through this with my wife, something about vampires not wanting to kill people seems wrong to me.

Wife is obsessed with the books. Read them all in like two weeks. She's getting the movie soon so I'll have to watch it again with her. The movie was decent. I won't touch the books though.

Wife picked them up last week and is almost through book 4. We watched the movie and it was ok, but she kept pointing all the places the movie deviated from the book.

My girlfriend read all the books in about a week. She went to the movie with her sister and said it sucked. I have no interest in the books or the movie.

I would hate to hand over my man card, but I actually enjoyed the move and want to read the books. I think that a lot of that may have to do with my wife's enjoyment of the series.

I'm with you, I really enjoyed the movie and may think about reading the rest of the books. I'm sure when the movie comes out in November that I will take Katie to go see and actually look forward to it.
