mrreindeer 05:14 PM 02-10-2009
Hey gang - mrsreindeer & I could use your help....I was hesitant about putting this on here but I just thought that somebody out there might know somebody who might be needing a place to live in the Los Angeles area....our current tennants (who were AWESOME) just got laid off unfortunately and need to move and well, we need to get our very first home rented out again as soon as possible.

We really appreciate you spreading the word!!

Here's the ad from Craigslist: https://accounts.craigslist.org/post...21709444&db=lv

Great looking house. My buddy and his family live in that area. It’s a nice, quiet neighborhood that’s close to Hermosa and Manhattan, but without all commotion. I hope you rent it quickly David. :-)

Thanks guys! Mike, you're absolutely right, it's a really great area and basically Hermosa Beach but more quiet....we really had no intention of leaving it almost three years ago now but when my Dad left for Charleston, SC, he made us an offer on his house that we just couldn't refuse.

Included with the rent....pays $50/hour and includes the use of the house's five female model roommates who walk around naked (but in clown makeup).

I know CA has high prices and I'm just a dirt poor IT guy trying to make it in the world.... But $3000 a month for 1520 sq ft? I had no real idea about prices in CA. You guys are getting screwed by someone.

BTW, I could rent it at that price and have just enough left over from the paycheck to buy peanut butter and bread. No gas, electricity, cable, or water.

Seriously....it's brutal out here....still. And we really don't want to have to sell it in this market. Ugh, I know it's a lot. Place across the street is going for $3,400/month.....ours is a bargain! :-)
