Good Eats>Favorite place to eat?
shilala 02:17 PM 10-15-2015
My favorite in my whole life, and I'd get up and go any time, is Alabama Jack's out in the swamp in Key Largo.
There's Alabama Jack's, and then there's everything else.
We have some exceptional restaurants all around Cleveland, still not close.
CONCH FRITTERS!!!

For Chinese food, Din Tai Fung is out of this world. There are a handful locations on the west coast and throughout Asia. I have been to a few of them in Asia and it's just beyond words good. I am sure some West Coast member have surly at at one before?

Haven't, maybe I should have though. Saw one Saturday at the mall. It was packed!

Favorite dim sum place is, The Kitchen (thanks, Dic)

Favorite hole in the wall is, Super Stars. Place looks like it receives an F in health quality and it probably does. Food is decent for $3 and some change you can get some garlic fried rice, and egg and two pieces of longanisa. I usually get two orders :-)

There's not one Din Tai Fung in the world that does not have a line all day long. You pick what you want to order while in line and you give the hostess your order before you sit down. Best way to order! You'll be in heaven if you like Dim Sum. Din Tai Fung is considered one of the best restaurants in the World.

That's my folks' favorite place for steaks in Indy, too. I'm going to have to check it out next visit up that way.
