Last night I had Tbone and his wife Aida over to have dinner with us. My wife made some lasagna, garlic bread and a huge salad. Afterwards Tbone and I hit the deck for a smoke, bourbon and a relaxing time.

The ash tray was a gift from him out of Kuwait and needed breaking in. We started out with a couple of glasses of Pappy Van Winkle 20 yr old bourbon (liquid crack), a 2007 R&J EL from Misha (great cigar) and a Gurkha Warlord from '06 for Tbone. Just a great evening with good friends.

Love it. Simple joys for a great evening. Isn't it great how friends can make a cigar/meal/drink/evening special?

Hmmm - that constitutes evidence - and kills any chance of deniability if things go wrong :-)

I probably wouldn't even smoke cigars if it wasn't for the good company that came along with it.. Sounds like a great night to me!

The ice really doesn't hurt the bourbon that much, plus it slows me down on the sipping. Also, I am not one for warm liquor...

The Ancient Warlord is a very mild (his pace at this moment) and it has it's own taste as compared to the rest of the Gurks. I would wager most in a blind test could not tell me that it is a Gurk. I have a decents fell for teh base taste and flavors that most don't seem to care for and this stick does not have them. He liked it....
