The trays don't really need seasoned, just keep an eye on the RH.

Beautiful setup you have there. :-) :-) One small question though, why 65% and 70% beads (or whatever you are using)? With the two different RH's everything will eventually settle to the higher RH, whether it is beads or some other form of humidification. I will qualify that statement by saying that my small unit will only hold 60% with 65% beads due to it keeping the temp at 63deg. at it's highest setting of 66deg. I usually don't keep it turned on because of this and it holds 65%.
