Some are bringing big money at ebay.
This is a fun read.
I thought it was funny that I remembered that Air Raid game. Never bought it cause I thought it sucked, and I was hopelessly addicted to Asteroids.

I swear, soon as I read it, that clip from "Vacation" replayed in my head...
Hey, ya' got Pac Man?
No.
Ya' got Space Invaders?
Nope.
Ya' got Asteroids?
Naw, but my dad does. Can't even sit on the toilet some days.

Dang man, I was reading the links from that article. My friend had most if not all of those Nintendo games. If we only knew....

My wife donated my Super Nintendo and all of the games a few years ago.
:-)
My dad still has the Intellivision that I had growing up. About 20 or so games. It doesn't work last time we tried it though, but he did find a website where you can mail it in and they will fix it for a small fee.

I still play my NES. Contra and Mike Tyson's Punchout are my favorites.

NHL '93 for SEGA. That game will go down as one of the greatest hockey games ever made. If anyone even dares try to say '94 is better they are completely wrong....you can't fight in '94. If you don't believe me watch Swingers with Vince Vaughn.

I never had a Nintendo. Just atari. I used to buy games at garage sales all the time when I was in my early 20's. Have no idea where it's all at, I think I abandoned all that stuff at my ex's house.
I did hook it up a number of times for my kids to play. They loved the old games, but bored quickly and headed for the xbox live.

Still got all my old game systems in boxes somewhere. I went an a kick for awhile and played my nes for a few months. I tried to beat as many of my old games as I could.
All I have to say is some of the hardest freaking games were the old ones. Holy balls!

There is a (likely) still working Atari console in my parent's basement. We had like 30 games. I may take it something and see if it still works. My brother's original Nintendo still works (He has several games too). The kids play it when they're at my parent's house. LOL I guess that's a place where old games never die.

I gave away all that stuff a number of years ago! Just like Mom throwing out the baseball card collection!

My brother-in-law found some old Atari equipment and games in the trash last week. Put them on Ebay and got $70.00 for them. Not bad for a dumpster diver.

:-) NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbo Graffx 16, Sega Saturn, etc. Break them out every so often and remember the "good ol days".
