Discussion>New pipe came in!

Well it has arrived, and rather quickly thanks to UPS. First thing I thought is it's so small compared to my Baronet. Now that I've smoked out of it though, I'm about to swear off jumbo pipes until I learn what I'm doing more. Pipe is such a good smoker, and so easy to light and keep it lit. Here's a few pictures of it after the first smoke. Oh yeah, and for some reason despite the pipe being smaller, and weighing 3x less than the Baronet it's stem is twice as thick makes for such a comfortable mouth feel.

Looks like it'll sit nicely on the lips. Very nice.

Nice score! I've always wanted a bent like that. Awesome!

I too prefer wider bits. They are harder to come by these days.

Nice pipe! :-)

I have a couple Savs. I just bout a Sav Soiree billard.

That's a great looking pipe. I bet it looks good being held in the hands with that shape. Great wide Saddle too, now you don't have to worry about choking on the damn thing.

Great looking pipe, but it is in the smoke that the perhaps fickle evaluations of a pipe emerge, and given them, how often you choose to smoke it.
