Getting my Aristocrat Plus humidor next week from Bob Staebell of Aristocrat Humidors
I have to say he is the ONLY humidor builder that you can contact directly by phone, all the other builders have been a BIG disappointment in ZERO phone contact ability, Waxingmoon humidors, NO, Chasidor humidors, NO, Wineadors, NO.
Not to mention they are terrible in even contacting mt email also.
This is a BIG reason I purchased my custom humidor from Bob Staebell of Aristocrat Humidors
Will do a unpacking report next week!
In the shop photo before shipping

How long ago did you order it? I've got one in the works and Bob seems to be running a bit behind lately.
Very nice piece by the way, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Aug 15th so he's about a week behind, some of the reason he said was Texas was having higher humidity, making it harder to get the finish coats to dry completely before shipping.

When you get it, have a bunch of very clean lint-free cloths available and loads of distilled water. Using only a slightly damp cloth, wipe down everything on the inside. Season for at least a week and make sure that after seasoning that the seal is still tight (shipping can tweak that slightly). Do the wipe down again (it will get a lot more dust).
Enjoy!

Man...I need (want) one of these bad...I'd have to sell a couple guitars and maybe an amp to get one with active cooling though...
