I think you two sealed the fate of your 360's. The only way to prevent failure is to accept it LOL.

Accepted the fate. Good thing I've had it less than the 3 year warranty though! :-)

the failure rate (and not having broadband) are what have kept me from the 360. With the new pricing, it is getting more likely I will get one :-).

I purchased the xbox 360 for my 8 year old son. The reason I went with the xbox 360 over the PS3 is because allot of the old xbox games are supposed to be compatible with the 360.From what I have read there is not allot of difference in the PS3 and the xbox 360.
