I would love to find a nice 55 pipe. Not even sure where I would look.

It's a great profession if you can afford it.

The Man I bust my ass for is God since I'll be working for the church. I think I'll be alright.

Still looking for a '72 Dunhill that I like enough to pay the price asked.

There in lies the rub - you have to patient and wait for these bods to turn up at a decent price. (E-snipe is killer BTW) Either that or be willing to fork out $350 plus for a pipe....

Always thought the "birth year Dunhill" was a cool concept so when I came across an "unsmoked" 1976 on fleabay a few years ago I couldn't pass it up.

On a side note, I haven't popped my pipe smoking cherry yet, but that itch is getting stronger and I think that day will be coming soon. Got a MM cob, Czech tool, and some OTC baccy ready to go to start and practice the basics. (packing, lighting, smoking)

I have this '83 group 5. Fortunately I was able to get it for a decent price after letting a lot pass buy. Unfortunately the stem whistles like a train, so it doesn't get used too often.

Thats a beautiful looking pipe Derrick. If the stem is whistling, you may want to try the following:

Thanks Mark. I've talked to tim about working on a Peterson Spigot pipe that needs opened up as well. I just need to send them out.

i was never able to find a birth year dunhill that tripped my trigger. hell, i think i've only found 4 or 5 while i was looking, and none were in any shape to be smoked or they were a shape i'd never smoke, etc.
