I just realized I am totally under his control.
Steve is my idol, or so he has brainwashed me into believing.
I have been assured it is not a cult.
I own:
MacBook
iPad
iPod Classic
iPod Nano
iPod Nano w/ Video
iPod Touch (for grandson)
Airport Extreme
In the next month or two, on my list:
Apple TV
Airport Express (for stereo speakers to play music via iPhone or iPad)
Can't wait for Steve to come up with another gadget.
How much have you contributed to Steve's bottom line?
Oops,
Forgot one.

Been a Mac user for as long as I can remember (15+years). I am a graphic designer so I tend to favor the Mac for work anyway. Right now in my house in service we have my 27" Imac Quad Core. My wife is now using my old 21" White Imac. Forgot the specs on this one and I also have a 15 inch MacBook Pro that I use when I am out of the office. We have also have a small collection of Ipods in the house between the two of us. I do have one of the old gray G4s upstairs in a closet collecting dust. Sadly, even if Verizon gets the Iphone I will probably jump on the Droid bus before I go Iphone due to the whole Flash issue or lack there of for the Iphone but I do love my Macs.

I like them quite a bit. I wish I could have the netflix compatibility of the new one on the storage of the old one. My son has severe Autism, and he destroys DVD's. I either buy the shows he likes on iTunes or rip the dvd's before he sees them. This way I always have his shows, many times he would be trying to watch a movie, and the disc would look like it spent some time on the belt sander. Usually led to a big meltdown. Now things are much better.
The only downside to the new one, if you want to listen or watch something you own, it has to be streamed from a computer, which means my old macbook stays on sucking power most of the time.

BTW, Microcenter has the $1200 MBP for $999 right now. $200 instant discount, so none of that mail in rebate stuff they usually do.

Here's the best way I've ever heard it told:
You want your computer to do what you tell it to do.
With a windows machine, you have to worry about the thing getting too infected to to do what you tell it.
Linux requires you to teach it how to do everything you want,
and apple does what you tell it to.
My favorite combo, is an apple main computer with a Linux machine on the side for play.
