2012 Goose Island Lolita - Lolita is a pink rose colored Belgian style pale ale fermented with wild yeast and aged on raspberries in wine barrels. Aromas of fresh raspberries, bright jammy fruit flavors and crisp, refreshing body make Lolita ideal for beer drinkers fond of Belgian Framboise.

God I thought surely I would NEVER post a reply here without a picture, like those OTHER people.
But here we go. I guess I could wait til it comes in on the truck, but I want to brag NOW!

2 4 packs of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
2 4 packs of Rasputin Imperial Stout
1 12 pack Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
1 6 pack Rogue Hazlenut Brown Nectar Ale
1 6 pack Victory Hop Wallop

$84 plus shipping of $29....in the end I guess I might have found some of it cheaper locally
but not all of it and that was kind of a deal-breaker. I am not driving around all afternoon.

People who know I "hate" Hop Wallop should understand that I am not sure
my Brother-in-Law would drink all that sludge I got for ME....He normally drinks
Land Shark, either because it's cheap or because he likes it light and hoppy.

Got a couple Founders Frangelic Mountain Brown :-) Price gouging around here is getting a bit ridiculous.

I had it on tap at Founders during the KBS release. It was not memorable then, and I really didn't want to buy it now. But I figure I wasn't impressed because they also at the same time had this Sumatra Mountain Brown that was better than KBS. So my taste buds were too excited by that beer to give a unbiased review of the Frangelic Mountain Brown. Review to come next week.

I skipped this release.. I'm weeding out some stuff in my cellar, mainly stouts and bigger beers, and slowly getting into Belgian Sours, American Wild Ales, ect. From what I've seen and tasted, I like the changes over time that occurs in Wild Ales..

Exceptionally happy at how lucky I was today. A case of 2012 and then some 2011 of Saison-Brett. And a few others picked up over the last month.

Awesome I had the Saison Brett the other day, wish it were already aged.

Man Julian, I LOVE THAT YETI! I know it is widely available, but I have not found any around in some time,
likely owing to my lack of options and lack of travel for beer buying. But I love that beer.

I haven't had it yet since they don't distribute to NH. It is all over MA though. I did love their Fresh Hop...

Especially excited to try the Ruination 10th

ps - all but the ruination came from letspour.com - my first order from them to try it out.
shipping was slow but the price was good.. about $100 for twelve 22 oz bottles... free shipping, $10 off for "spin the bottle" game, another 10 off for ordering twelve or more. its not like they have a phenomenal selection, but there was enough for me to give it a shot.
