I use Pandora quite a bit, especially when I'm tired of the music on my phone. I use it at my computer a lot, too.
I have very few stations, and always lack the imagination to create more.
I figured if we made a list, I could steal some inspiration from you guys and vice versa.
:-)
Here's the short list of what I have on my Pandora, if you guys would add yours to it, I'm thinking that'd be pretty awesome.
:-)
1. Deep Purple
2. Cake
3. Los Lonely Boys
4. Trans-Siberian Orchestra
5. Big Head Todd & The Monsters
6. Stevie Nicks
7. The Marshall Tucker Band
8. John Mellencamp
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers
10. Tom Petty
11. The Black Crowes
12. Led Zeppelin
13. The White Stripes

I used to use Pandora, now I use Grooveshark. I can type in the song that I want to listen to instead of waiting for it to pop up on Pandora.
My stations were:
Rush
Pink Floyd
Metallica
Live
Pantera
Sinatra
I think that was all of them. It's been a while.

Ha ha. Looks like our music tastes differ a bit. But then again I like different kinds of music.
Avenged Sevenfold
Linkin Park
Autograph (turn it up!)
Level 42 (80's)
Barry Manilow (I was showing my mom how it worked and now it's stuck on there.)
Pink Floyd
Sometimes Pandora is wierd. Once it played Lady Ga Ga followed by Genesis. I had to give them the ultra thumbs down on her.

It seems the longer you let it run the further it gets from your original artist. I'm not really a fan of that.

It seems to clear up if I thumbs down stuff when it sucks.
For instance, it does not matter what channel I'm on, there's no escaping Pink Floyd. If I never hear another Pink Floyd song, it'll be too soon.
So I make sure I use the thumbs down even if I gotta go out of my way to do it.
The thumbs down thing seems to iron out the "pandora getting sidetracked" thing. I like the channels to get a little wide, but when it gets way off track, the thumbs down seems to help reign it back in.
Another way to fix that is to do a quick mix of a few of your stations at once. It allows a broader base of songs, but also increases the chances of having to suffer another Pink Floyd song.
