Passed away this morning at a Nashville hospital. 88 years old. Not many with his commitment to Bluegrass left around.

One of my earliest memories with music was my dad listening to Flatt and Scruggs. And Marty Robbins!

I don't think I've ever loaded an ipod that didn't have some Flatt & Scruggs on it.
Absolutely amazing musicians.
