Taco Soup

1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 pkg. taco seasoning
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 can Niblet corn
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto or great northern beans
1 can black beans
1 pkg. dry ranch dressing mix
1-1/2 cup water

Brown meat, drain off any fat. Add taco seasoning and dry ranch dressing mix, then open cans of vegetables and add to meat. Add water, mix well and heat thoroughly. I usually simmer it for at least an hour (or put it in crock pot on low).

You can top your soup with sour cream and shredded cheese if desired and serve it with tortilla chips.

This soup also freezes well.

And it also changes its flavor as it cooks longer or sits in the fridge overnight as the flavors marry together! Great recipe that ive made many many times!
