Macallan 18+, Lagavulin, or Oban always treat me very well....

Lagavulin 16 as a daily, but Laphroaig Quarter Cask and Aberlour a'bunadh for those special drams. Others, too, of course, but how much room do we have? :-)

Love this thread. Great to make lists of what to try. That bottle of Johhnie Blue last week was pretty good....

If you like those, try the Peat Monster by Compass Box. Smokey, peaty and powerful. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the company and he is doing great things with Whisky.

Another vote for Lagavulin 16. Also enjoy Laphroig if I am having a very strong cigar. On the lighter side, Glenfarclas 21 or Glenmorangie.

Scotch is gooood.:-)

Macallan 15 Fine Oak
Glenlivet 18

The less peat the better for me.

Probably my all time fave was a 33 y.o. Springbank. Second on the list would be a 27 y.o. Tamnvulin-Glenlivet single barrel that I still have.

The one I drink the most is Balvenie 12yr Doublewood, but the Balvenie 21 is probably my favorite it is just a little too expensive as a daily drink

The 21 is great but do try the 17, it's a nice sherried dram! 17 years in a sherry cask. Just as goodas laphroig30.

Darrell, Try the peat monster if you like the peaty smokey flavors

The Lagavulin is nice.

I've only tried a few single malts so far, but the winner by a large margin is Laphroaig 10 year.
