I don't really see the point of sharing the total monetary value of what I or anyone else smokes. It would only serve to segregate or alienate people.

I think Mikey was trying to make a point as to the value of Cuban cigars, but I agree with you Peter.

The current value of the cigar or the value of what it cost me when I purchased? Pretty different!

Hey Scott, you liking these? A buddy of mine told me to grab some, said it was the best $1.00 stick he's had. This is a Patel blend right?

Oh man, Tom... that's the funniest thing I've heard today! I didn't know you could wax poetic like that.

Got a fiver off of c-bid. Smoked one OTT and it was God-awful. revisited one this past week, and thought it was a great el cheapo. Will have to buy more. Fiver cost me $7.00 on C-bid.

I have no idea who did the blend, but the stick smelled just like raisins when I pulled it out of the wrapper.
I got these from one of the brothers here in a trade, I wish I could remember who. My head's a bit soft right now.
:-)
The first 1/3 was excellent. The second third was decent but needed some purging to keep it healthy. I didn't get to the last third because sofaman's old lady called and he had to scoot.
Scott and I both loved it. He about peed himself when I told him it was a $1.00 stick. The construction and wrapper are gorgeous, it smells wonderful, tastes great and smokes flawlessly.
The more I work my way through value sticks, the more exceptional cigars I find. Makes me feel simple when I smoke a $20 cigar.
:-)
I have a handful of the Esteban Carrera Corojo's, too. Can't wait to try one.
