we're gonna start off with a hog hunt. went last night but the guys at bass pro really don't want to help you, think i'm gonna end up using buds and have it shipped to a dealer. i like the bolt action, i really just don't want a single shot.

Another vote for the Ruger 10/22. Awesome rifle and I bought one for my son about that age and he's 22 now and still loves it, even though he has some more powerfull rifles. Will last and last and it is a great rifle. Steve

just picked up his 10/22, and grabbed myself a howa 308, it fell into the cart by accident.

I hate when things accidentally fall into my cart! Happens all the time and you would think in this day and age that there would be fix for that. Guess not. Great choices! Congrats. Steve
