Discussion>Sexiest pipe under $100 ? Pipe ****?
The.Sheepdog 02:12 PM 12-29-2014
Now that the holidays are about over I am looking for a new pipe.

I realize that pipes are individual in likes and unlikes but would love to know what would trip your trigger at the $100 level? What would you get?

I am looking at Nording, Savinelli, B-C, and lots of others I have never had. I like bigger bowls and after that its all open.

Pics would be lovely! :-)

I purchased a Morgan Pipes Blackjack series bulldog back in November and have been smoking the crap out of it! Here is a link to the website: http://www.morganpipes.com/black-jack-pipes.html

Yes it does. I kind of like the unrefined look in a bulldog. Ruuf!:-)

I love the prince shape and this Comoy's has a nice understated design with very nice grain.

I would not have thought it even possible to get a Comoy pipe. They are the oldest briar pipe maker. Even more coveted to me than Tsuge! (thats next)
I didnt get the one my Submariner buddy likes but close!

Awesome! I'm glad I could help.
Their Cask line of tobacco has some nice blends, too.

BTW Darren, I have a garage if you need a place to stay! I may be in there anyway after the last few weeks!

Thanks, but I think I'll be okay. I've learned that she'll always get over it. Besides, she was the one who asked if I might look into smoking a pipe in the first place. She doesn't smoke, but she loves the smell of tobacco.

I had a Tsuge, once upon a time. it was a nice pipe

Never had a Comoy, but I've never heard a bad thing about em

I'm a sucker for a good sandblast. I think nearly all of my remaining pipes are blasts

Tsuge to me has always been a want. The art and craftsmanship is always worth it.

But a Comoy! That for me is like owning a piece of history. But it wont go on the wall; I am going to smoke it and enjoy it!

Take a look at some of the Savinelli offerings by SP. They have a line printed with their logo that come in under $80 that are pretty danged tempting.
