Hopefully ya'll have heard about HBO's new series, Boardwalk Empire, premiering next month on the 19th. Its a mafia series about Atlantic City in the Prohibition Era.

One of my favorite actors, Steve Buscemi is the lead rule. Terence Winter, from the Sopranos, is the Creator, Executive Producer and Writer and Martin Scorsese is the Director and another Executive Producer.

The show looks to be awesome and I can't wait :-)

Most of the filming was done blocks from where I live. They actually built an entire full size city block set...pretty cool, can't wait to watch it!

I can not WAIT for this show. I think the cast is stellar, the storyline sounds amazing, and the sets and costumes look great. I'm definitely looking forward for it :-)

About time HBO got back into the stellar series fight. Showtime has been blowing them out of the water since the Sopranos ended. Weeds, the Big C, etc are all great fun.

Initial impression: looks great! First episode had a lot of action and set things rolling. Should be a good series.
