Though this is sports stuff...(I'm sure I have far too many posts in there). I want to shout this to everyone.... SO PROUD of this team and specifically my son. The University of Utah Skatin' Utes have finished the season with two of the three biggest trophies they can achieve.(still working for the last)
Tonight crushed #4 (West) Boise State (ACHA) tonight and waiting for Nationals. No grand expectations there, but they're going in as a top half seed in 16 teams, roll it.
Yep... Just dropping proud dad. Though he won't touch, says he wasn't on the ice for either, he's been on the ice this season & dropped points, it's a hockey thing.
Proud as a peacock...

Meh...always been taller at 6'2"....but looks like he's jumping me....

Good reason to be proud. Congrats to him and his team . . . and you too.
Can't help but think of the recently-departed Dean Smith, whose Kansas Jayhawks won the 1952 basketball championship . . . with him on the court for a full 29 seconds of that game. Some people remember Clyde Lovellette, more will remember Smith longer.
