Anyone try these yet?

La Reloba or Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial

Yes and both are excellent smokes!

The Jaime is full bodied while the La Reloba is medium. The Jaime Garcia is wrapped with a broadleaf maduro and the La Reloba comes in Habano and Sumatra (the Sumatra is the better of the 2).

I highly recommend either one. :-)

I Agree the sumatra is def step above.

Jaime Garcia is full but an easy and tasty smoke.

Just picked some up this weekend. I actually scored two for free from the Pepin rep that was there. I haven't smoke them yet, but this week looks promising. :-)

Wow...didn't even know they existed. Thanks for sharing the news, anything by Pepin is worth at least trying.

Yes!
Very good smokes. Smoked the La Reloba awhile back. Both the Habano and the Sumatra are excellent.

Yes - have been fortunate enough to try both of these new lines. I agree that the La Reloba Sumatra is noticeably better than the Habano. This brand is very reasonably priced as well. The Jaime Reserva is a flat-out amazing blend, IMO. If I can indulge in a terrible SAT analogy, these are to the My Father portfolio what the El Triunfador are to the Tatuaje line-up. Loads of flavor and complexity, yet smooth, and it achieves this without having to use a ton of strength or power.

The Connie-wrapped Old Henry's are news to me. Interesting and I wonder how these compare to the 601 Black or the original Tabacos Baez. I'm a little late to the Pepin party but I have always heard that he worked wonders with Connecticut wrappers on the original Cuban Diplomat and the Rey Miguel blends. (Hopefully these will come fairly close.)

Thx for the head's up...had no idea there were new blends out there (although I can't say I am that surprised considering the amount of blends he has created recently :-)). I will have to track them down.
