General Discussion>5.8 Earthquake
Blak Smyth 12:08 PM 08-23-2011
Did anybody feel the earthquake centered in VA just now?
Internet says it was a 5.8, we felt it pretty good here in PA.

Edit: They just upgraded it to a 5.9

I was just talking to a client in NJ when he stopped mid sentenced and followed with "Holy Sh*t, I think we're having an earthquake." I asked, "You sure someones not running a heavy piece of machinary outside.":-) Turns out he was right.

I was born and raised in SoCal, this was very small by comparison but I never expected to feel an earthquake in PA!

It wobbled me around in my chair. Only lasted for about 3 seconds here in Ohio.
I thought I imagined it, but Lisa just texted and asked if I felt it.
That's my first ever.
