Padron 3000 Maduro was the best cigar I had smoked the first time I tried it. This particular shop kept recommending Romeo Y Julieta (Altidas) and other General/Altidas stuff and I kept thinking there has to be better stuff out there

I've been a loyal customer of the shop that got be going on the Padrons ever since!

The cigar that got me "hooked" on the hobby was a Nazareth's of Bev. Hills, Honduran rolled, RyJ Churchill. I want to say it was in '89. I had smoked cigars many times prior but they were on whims and I didn't have a humidor until after the first Naz when I went on a buying spree.

I forgot about those Wavell's. They were fantastic.
The cigar that totally blew my mind and made me realize there were insanely good cigars out there, it was a PAM 26 #6.
I smoked it around the dinner table with my gf's brother, mother, and father.
Awesome company, I was having a blast, but that cigar was so good it made me pay attention.
