General Discussion>Best way to spend $100?
Robulous78 05:03 AM 01-20-2014
Just curious, if you happened to find an extra $100 dollars in your wallet, in your opinion, whats the best way you can think of to spend it?

cigar or non-cigar related?

Rob, I like to use "found" money on one of my hobbies such as cigars or coffee. I love good coffee and when I had a windfall like that I bought a new coffee grinder. I bought a new coffee pot with money I got for Christmas. Usually something I wouldn't ordinarily buy. Have fun!

i would consider myself lucky and apply that to a bill.

If I found $100 in my wallet, the very first thing I would instinctively do is try to figure out whose pants I am wearing and more importantly, how did I end up wearing them.

Go hide it under baby food and diapers in stores.

One of two choices:
1) A nice bottle of Scotch and the rest on cigars, or
2) Take my wife out for a good lobster dinner.

Buy something nice for your wife and children (if you have them) go up to a homeless person and buy them $20 in groceries, and go to your local B&M and buy a quality smoke with the remainder!

Interesting answers so far, anyone else?

Oh and I forgot to mention this is completely hypothetical :-)

If I didn't have pressing obligations, one of my fave charities would be $100 richer. Probably the Oregon Greyhound Adoption group or Doctors Without Borders.

I'd like to think I could be as altruistic as my friend, but I'd likely donate to Strippers Without Borders ...

(honesty is one of my new year's resolutions)

It would go back into my wallet as pocket change and get used up buying little things here and there. What was left Sunday morning would be put in the collection.
This has happened to me a few times before because I sometimes get extra cash for something then I don't use it.

Give it to my wife. I'm sure she'll apply is to a root canal, insurance, or some other type of payment.
