All Cigar Discussion>Fake Cuban Tear Down
Flynnster 04:38 PM 09-15-2016
Hey everyone,
Folks went on a cruise and brought this back for me. Bought off a dude on the street, for $10 cash. I knew it was fake, and thought it would be fun to tear it apart. Would it have smoked? Probably. Would it have been good? Doubt it.

Good: All tobacco, nothing crazy.
Bad: Short filler, lots of thick stems.

With that much leaf litter, it's a wonder it would even draw. Nice to see a deconstruction.

Flynnster: Sorry to go OT, but Doctorossi: Was Dr. Ross dog food marketed nationally? I assumed it was local to SoCal. I still remember the commercial from (mumble mumble) years ago: "Dr. Ross dog food is doggone good WOOF!" Company had a sordid history, by modern standards anyway, Google if so inclined.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Hi, jrw- I have no idea. My name is not a reference to Dr. Ross dog food (with which I am not familiar), but to motorcycle racing champion, Valentino Rossi, who is nicknamed "The Doctor".
