All Cigar Discussion>How long before I can do a box split?
dubs chops 12:29 PM 02-11-2010
Guys, I was wondering how long I need to be here before I can do a box split? I am assuming there is a section for it that I cannot see yet? Anyways I was thinking about ordering some of "those one" cigars and didn't know if I could do a box split yet.

thanks in advance,

keep you matches Dry and your glass wet!

If you mean by "those one" cigars as Cubans, public box splits, sales and trades are against the rules of the Asylum.

Stay involved and keep posting and some doors will open, eventually.

Greg (NCRadioMan) is correct. Box splits of Cuban cigars are not allowed. (LOL :-))
Greg has also mentioned that other forums will become accessible over time. Be patient. It doesn't take much to gain access.

Once you gain access to the Box Split forum, you can organize a box split of any non-Cuban cigar you wish. Typically, a box split is organized pre-purchase and, if you so choose, money is collected pre-purchase as well. The other option is for you to purchase the box yourself and, when you gain access to the sales forums, you can sell off part of your box.

I hope this clarifies things for you.

Be forewarned. The heavens will not open up. You will not hear harp music. And cigars will definitely not rain down upon you. :-)

Don't set your hopes too high. There is nothing spectacular. :-)

Set the bar low enough and she will never be disappointed in you.
